Andrew Schneider is the kind of guy who’s seen too much, felt too deeply, and still dares to dream louder than most. A veteran storyteller and lifelong creative, Andrew brings a deep sense of purpose to everything he writes—from soul-wrestling lighthouse keepers to cryptid special forces units taking on cults in the near future. With over a decade of experience mentoring youth, backpacking through stories and trails alike, and serving his community, Andrew believes that fiction is more than escape—it’s a way to heal, to grow, and to spark revolutions of the heart. He’s the proud father of five amazing kids and has been married to his loving wife for nearly 20 years. She gave Andrew the shove he needed to launch—and the wisdom to check his altitude.

Dustin Braswell is the visual engine behind Third Rail’s punch-in-the-gut storytelling. With a gift for turning raw emotion into expressive linework and bringing the fantastic into focus, Dustin’s art doesn’t just capture a scene—it captures your soul and dares you to stay uncomfortable just long enough to grow. Equal parts sketchpad warrior and story whisperer, he brings every panel to life with grit, imagination, and a whole lot of heart. Whether he’s designing the twisted landscape of the Neverywhere or giving humanity to a misunderstood Yeti, Dustin makes the unbelievable impossible to ignore. He’s also a devoted father whose creativity is fueled as much by his kids’ laughter and imagination as it is by his own. As an equal partner in the Third Rail journey, he’s as much a visionary as he is an architect of the extraordinary.

The Origin Story
Andrew and Dustin first crossed paths over a decade ago, working for the same industrial water treatment company. Though career paths eventually diverged, their shared love for 80s nostalgia and storytelling kept them connected like long-lost brothers. Third Rail Comics was born not just from their mutual passion for epic tales, but from a desire to inspire their children to chase dreams without apology—and to finally build the “Goondocks” they never had growing up.
